A child and his dreams

The child wakes up from his dream one day,
Thunders, Slams, Screams, and Bams
Was it a nightmare? No, not yet…
Before childhood’s magic bubble snaps
Let’s play another round and take a nap

The child wakes up from his dream one day,
Thunders, Slams, Screams and Bams
Was it a nightmare? No, not yet…
The heart feels all but the mind forgets
It felt like trouble, but Shush and Hush
The child knows not that his world had sunk

The child wakes up from his dream one day,
Thunders, Slams, Screams and Bams
Was it a nightmare? Please, perhaps
Under pillows of muffled screams
The child wishes it was all a dream
